Book 2 Post 2 Leo Lu
Although I am still reading Resilient, it has already presented me valuable insights and practical skills. I have always been skeptical of self-help books because they often offer vague, feel-good advice that stems from emotion without much depth. However, I'm glad I gave this one a chance, as Resilient has completely changed my view of the genre.
Hi Leo, I can definitely relate to your perspective of this genre of books, well although there's times in which great advice is offered, many times I feel like it's repetitive. It's great to hear that Resilient has helped you however develop a more mindful approach to life. I'm inspired to pick up this book myself!
ReplyDeleteLeo, as someone who’s always seeking personal growth but is equally skeptical of 'self-help' books, I really enjoyed reading your takeaways from this book. Your reflections on the chapter about Grit were particularly relatable, and the rest of your review has piqued my curiosity. I feel inspired to challenge my own mindset and explore this book for myself—thank you for sharing!
